Ingerith currently specialises in women’s mental health, with a particular focus on perinatal mental health. When not working in her private practice, Ingerith consults to the Gidget Foundation where she supports women adjusting to parenthood.
Her approach is one of acceptance, warmth and compassion and combines a number of different evidence-based clinical psychological approaches, including cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy.
Ingerith is available to provide clinical psychological treatment to women including:
anxiety disorders (panic disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, adjustment disorders, social phobia and other phobias)
clinical depression
relationship difficulties
chronic stress
chronic illness management
perinatal anxiety and depression
adjustment to grief and loss.
Ingerith is a registered provider with Medicare.
Appointments can be made without a doctor's referral. However, clients may be eligble for rebates when referred by their GP or psychiatrist.
